While I love Katy's katy-a.deviantart.com/art/How-…   I am remembering why I don't like stuffing the leading edge of the wings- it hurts like an SOB to do, even if it does look cooler.  I've also started crafting little ear hats because they're cute and take twenty minutes and I have the left over polar fleece to do it.

So, after a whole two months of trying (or rather not trying to stop it) I am with child.

Pregnant.

Not sure if anyone here on dA cares, but there it is.

Sadly, this quarter my brain has been taken away by homework and/or fibro-fog issues.  Not sure I'd trust myself with my sewing machine when I can barely string together a coherent sentence.  Fibromyalgia sucks, and not in a happy way.

Looking forward to next quarter where I've got an academically lighter, if physically more intense quarter coming up.  Hopefully I'll be able to get some time in on the dragons and ponies and costumes I've got in the pipeline.

I saw a post on bronies.memebase.com/ for Blackrose88 saying she was looking at losing her house due to financial troubles.  A look through her gallery showed that she makes the heart-shaped ponies that I really like.  The wallpaper on my iPad is one of Twilight Sparkle.  I used to use it at work and use it in public so having a wallpaper that is kid-friendly on the thing is important.   

So, I used General Zoi's awesome pony creator to put together my concept (I figured its easier than describing) and sent her money through Paypal.  I wish I could help more but $15 is what I can spare off my account right now.

I've never tried making a plush animal before, so making Katy-A's katy-a.deviantart.com/art/How-… was a challenge for me.  But I think I did pretty good on the first one and I love the picture of it perched on top of the bookshelf in my sewing/library room.
